The icing on the cake.....
The icing on the cake was I attempted to maiden the Li'l Satan. No love there either. My Daughter helped me launch we made three attempts. Each launch resulted in 4-5 succesive loops on release. It looked like it was trying to eat it's tail. Super crazy tight loops like I was giving full up even though I wasn't.

I don't know Kim, no wind and 50 degree weather, everything is perfect except I can't get a darn thing to fly right.
I am pretty defeated right now.

Tail heavy. With such a short plane a tiny 1/8" of a shift in the CG has a huge effect. If you have to, you might try going back to a balsa stab with a small ply brace on top to spread the force of the control horn. The booms should be balsa too. It's much easier to add tail weight.
Don't beat yourself up, Ron. You're trying to do a lot of hard stuff in a short time. Been there done that. CL stunt is hard to master. You'd be bored stiff flying a Wizard for 2 minutes of flat laps. You could do that all day and not wreck it. Get that Satan balanced and it'll fly nicely on 35-40 foot lines. Remember Matt doing a wingover like a rocket with mine right off of launch? And I had made it nose heavy like a trainer to protect the Traveling Prop that day.
