Spektrum 6 channel RX and cox servos
Anyone know if cox micro servos will work with a spektrum rx? I asked at cox international and they said that if futuba, airtronics,jr and othr common servos work then the cox ones should also. I dont want to order them just to discover they arent compatible.

I don't know if this helps or not but I have successfully used cox micro servos with a futaba radio and receiver. So if futaba servos work with spectrum I would think the cox ones should as well.

With my Spektrum RX have used Futaba servos from the early 1990's, HiTec servos from the 2010's, new Hobby King, and new Turningy servos. Hot is the center, ground and signal are on the sides.
As long as you are not trying to use servos from the 70's and early 80's you should be fine. Those dinosaurs will work too, just the wires are in the wrong order. (I believe signal is in the center, but could be wrong) and the connector is wrong.
I believe the Cox icon servo uses a Jr style connector, so you just need to put the servo on correctly. Having it reversed won't hurt anything, it just won't work!

Yes, they come fitted with JR connectors and will work with anything made in the last 20 years. I have one on the throttle in my cub, works great.
