FIRED!! and out of there
AND DAMN GLAD OF IT!!! Got let go with 2 other mechanics and even his own brother this morning , I was in the wrong place at the right time, really I was not even there but he considered me to be involved? but I think the new owners the 31 yr. old had it out for me us what ever from the start. the other owner I have known for some time 43 yr.old didn't comment . After he had lied to all of us and cut my pay, as I was the highest payed after 9-10 yrs at this job, he got GREEDY and I feel it will catch up with him as people find out what is really going on. And the way the business is being run......either way there will be more time for building and flying now...... I think I was the only one that is happy they will be suffering this year for sure as it is prime time for yard work equipment to go down on you when you need it the most and they are backed up Getback has got to clean the shop up make room for my other tool to co home!!

Re: FIRED!! and out of there
Geez Eric.. I'm sorry you lost your job man. I know you probably feel a sense of freedom right now.. but being unemployed for too long, gets old real quick. On the other hand (she wore a glove.. ) maybe you could do some "moonlighting" and steal all the pr#$k's customers away from him? After 9-10 years.. they probably all know you anyway.. right?
EDIT.. if you feel you were "wrongfully terminated" you could file for benefits with the state of NC... your employer would have to fight it.. and you could also appeal, if he does. You need health insurance man.. above all else!

Sorry to hear that, Dude. The moonlighting and networking like Roddie said could work out well for you. Hope it all goes as you want.

The first order will be unemployment shop clean up we may have to fix my truck so I can get around , yes Roddie I need a form of insurance for my med.s . There is a lot of traffic on the road out front great opportunity for $ and to spread the word, there is a small engine repair only a few miles from here I may go talk to him and see if we can help each other or how it will play out with me only a few miles away! RE:FIRED and outta there
Sometimes opportunity is out there where you don't know it is..My brother went thru the same thing about 3 years ago, found his own garge,He focused on mowers, saws, boats(inboard) and an occasional brake job,he closes his shop once a month to travel, not bad if you ask me.hang in there getback-rat
