Looks like a spook backplate with a rare flexible needle valve. The mount looks like a Goldberg postage stamp mount. I have one somewhere and it looks like that. I say you done good.

Well I knew about the spook backplate and mount, but not the needle valve. Cool bonus I guess! Who made them?

Cox made them. It was for only for one or 2 different models they were used in. Somewhat rare.

Came in today. Cleaned up the recoil starter and put a normal plain tank and back on it. But the spook backplate found a more permanent home.

These were also sold as a hobby engine, notice it was sold with both needles:
