How'd I do?
Been watching this one since it popped up. Found it by scrolling very vague searches on eBay. I'm pretty excited about it.

The cylinder looks correct. Now just need to verify it has the KB crank. If it's got a date stamp before January 96 you got a good one.

Yeah I hope it's all good. I figured it'd be worth a gamble if it stayed below $50.

I'll have to check when I get home. Had a quick turn around from work to school today so I didn't have a lot of time to mess with it. Where is it located? This is my first complete NIB engine.

Should be on the cardboard insert somewhere.

Mine is blank. I've even looked behind I the cardboard and all. It's definitely original though. The engine is confirmed unrun. The box is faded and shows it's age and it was apparently hanging in a hobby shop all these years.

That must be a Friday engine...
I am sure there are other ways to date it.

While it would be nice to date it, it's not a big deal. The story checks out and matches up with the box wear. And all the parts are right. Should put it late 1995 to early 1996.

Re: How'd I do?
Anyone know an exact date on the beginning of production? As well as the end of production date?
