WTB: Runner Shrike
I am wanting to find a Shrike that would be a good runner to get my boys acclimated in spinning circles Doesn't have to be pretty, just has to be a runner.
Re: WTB: Runner Shrike
Buy him a Prop rod from Cox. Or have him scratch build one.

Re: WTB: Runner Shrike
When I was a teen I stole a couple of wheels and axils from an old toy truck and made a prop car out of 2 pieces of wood set up in an L fashion.

Re: WTB: Runner Shrike
Easy to make one, but Shrike was made to run, looks/ balance/ wheels etc. big factor as compared to hunk of wood and a motor.
Another point Shrike is part of
Cox History and will never be made again. I'm sure home built versions are fine.

Re: WTB: Runner Shrike
We would run them inline like a dragster using fishing line and stop the engine at the end of the run with a shop towel.
