What did you with your cox engine today?
I got this little QZ free from a guy on CraigsList last week and it was completely froze. Today I got it running.

Re: What did you with your cox engine today?
I ordered bladder materials for my .051 tee dee, since it already has the fine NVA and bored out intake.
Not sure which airplane it is going onto though.

Iron Maiden rocks!!! I have just about every album on vinyl. Even Iron Maiden and Killers with Paul Di'Anno on vocals.
Can I play with Madness The prophet stared at his crystal ball
Can I play with madness There's no vision there at all
Can I play with madness The prophet looked and he laughed at me
HA HA he said, Can I play with madness He said you're blind too blind to see
Maiden brings back some cool memories of chic's with spandex and long hair, jean jackets with back patches, posters on the wall, going to concerts, parties and trying to sneak the girlfriend back in her house at 2:30 in the morning so we wouldn't get busted by her parents! etc.....

Re: What did you with your cox engine today?
I moved a Babe Bee from one side of the workbench to the other. Just way too busy with other projects.
I got burnt on some tape players I got off Craigslist last week. Got home to take a closer look to find out one player has some nice dents on its head and the other player has pitting and corrosion on the head. Have been spending the last few days trying to relap the heads but still not getting the results I'm looking for...
I really have to run an engine one of these days. Since Saint Paul's finest is threatening that they will be having extra squads out on the 4th looking and listening for illegal fireworks, I guess I have to find another way to make noise. Maybe I'll fire up the old McCoy 29 with no muffler and let it go for 15 minutes.

I looked at my engine on the pylon for my sail plane. Still haven't gotten the sail plane airworthy.
Looked at the bladder kit. Contemplating putting it and the .051 onto an airplane I have built already that I am considering putting flaps on. Might have to start on that.

Re: What did you with your cox engine today?
I mounted a .049 on a plane I'm building for a thread over on RCG, an AXN FloaterJet. Someone asked about kits for a Cox .049, so I mentioned converting the electric pusher ARF to Cox power. To show it could be done, I'm doing it with a Sure Start that has a SPI piston/cylinder set with a 8cc tank. A 6x3 prop just clears the fuse with 1/4" to spare.
