There is a Li'l and Jr. Satan, but I have never seen a full size Satan. Not talking about Beelzebub........hope to never see him.

I assume that is not a Goldberg kit?

Plans available? It's a really nice model is it yours?

Saddly, that one is not mine. It was designed by Larry Scarinzi. The same guy who designed the Queen Bee.

A short kit can be had here: http://lazer-works.com/misc.html

It cost $16.70. I have considered purchasing one many times. I would have to have plans printed though. Probably from Barry.

I do not think it was ever released in kit form. It would go pretty quick with a Fox 35(36)x. Even faster if Missile Mist was used. Time to break out the Grape Soda!

Larry Scarinzi designed the Super Satan. Larry has several and I was holding one of his a few months ago. Larry attends most of our contests in North Jersey and racing events. He's a wonderful person and is just a pleasure to talk with. He really enjoys seeing my son fly the fast stuff. He's been inspirational to me and he still flies today. Here is a set of plans he signed for me last month for a friend of mine. Larry went into great detail how he would rework the Fox .36X engines for more power. Larry has made claims to going 120 on a Fox .36x flying the Super Satan on Fox Blast fuel which was close to 50% nitro. A few fellows from the Middlesex New Jersey area recreated that supposed myth to find out if it was indeed possible. Having an actual unopened can of Fox Blast fuel which still surprisingly worked. Ken

The Super Satan wasn't kitted but was published in a few different mags. Larry used a small bowling pin for a bladder compartment. This would be the toy plastic pins and obviously not the real deal. Larry was infamous for covering in silk typically yellow dye and clear. Truly works of art. I believe that particular plane pictured was built by Garden State Circle Burners Mr Luciano. In September the Garden State crowd is offering a vintage combat contest. I hopefully will be attending and I know Larry will be there with his smile. Ken

Wow,

That's a good bit of info! Thanks for that gents!

Now I understand why Golberg went on to make the smaller versions. I think this will go on the ever growing build list!

Just for the record, Larry told me the drawings are incorrect on the front spar. They show balsa and Larry insisted on 1/4" spruce. He penciled in the changes on my print and suggested if that isn't replaced your going to have a plane that folds. Ken

Duly noted Ken. This will definitely be my next scratch build and my first combat ship that uses a Binky setup. I will be using caulking tips instead of the typical binky though.
