A Cox .010 speed plane! My son is getting into Speed racing and this is just cool. Not the price though.

i don't think its aluminum, probably hardwood painted silver, definitely cool none the less, i know the seller, a long time PAMPA guy, quite the builder.

The pan/bottom is wood, you can see the grain. I love stuff like that.

Amazing construction at such a scale.

It reminds me of pictures I've seen of a similar plane, but 1/2A, on the French forum. It's the MIDGE. It has a wingspan of 12". Plan can be found on OUTERZONE.

Wow! It's neat, but for $282+ I could buy a NIB TD.010 and spend the weekend with some wood carving.
