Space Bug Junior moddel
Hi, I have my eye on a Space Bug Junior. Can anyone suggest a suitable moddel of the period to put it in. Controline or F/Flight.
Cheers

Eb,
Just about any non beam mount model with a firewall setup should work. The thing about the Space Bug Jr. Is the intake venturi, so you will have to drill a hole to match and provide for air flow.
What I don't know is what configuration allows it to perform best. For CL I would suggest a Baby Barnstormer. That would be period for the engine I think. The Veco Scout would be another good choice.

Re: Space Bug Junior moddel
My first NEW engine was a SB Jr. I used it on a couple of Scientific models, first a Little Devil then a Little Mustang. I also scratch-built a few for it. Note that the SB Jr. has a fixed internal pickup and for CL use, the needle should be facing inside the circle. George
