Brodak Fly-In
Seriously knocking around the idea of taking a bike trip to the Brodak Fly-In this year (second week of June). I'm betting that several of you guys are going too, and would appreciate any advice you might have. I don't want to take any planes this time, just my cameras, but will offer to assist any way needed (I can haul a mean trash can!).
I intend to camp, and will be willing to share any fees for a spot to park my bike and tent.
The one time before that I checked (couple years ago), it seemed that the area was packed for miles around.
Anyway...figured this to be the place to ask!
Thanks! Biker Kim

I am sure Ken will be there. If you plan on Riding maybe you could mail him a plane so you can have one at brodaks.....
I want to be there. Not sure if it's in the cards though.

If we are visiting inlaws in Weirton WVA I may make a day trip just to observe. Looks to be hour and a half or two from her folks place. Usually we are out there in August...may go early this year as I want to go to Washington for the Bladder Grabber in August. Both trips would be as spectator or some team helper

Yeah, I may develop a case of "Sensory Overload" on this first run, so was just gonna follow the program they sent me and video the goings-on....

Re: Brodak Fly-In
I really want to go. My son however graduates this year and it does cross over. The past few years, I just went for the racing and combat events. These are generally towards the end of the week with combat finishing on Sat. He may or may not have some final exams and that may be in the air. If I do attend it would be the later part of the week. John has had many stay right on the premises as I've seen motorcycles in the lot where the cars park. I've also seen tents set up in that area as well. I would certainly ask in a e-mail that you would like to attend and catch some video and if it was possible to stay on site. Directly across the street he has some gravel lot that RV's park on. That may just be a spot you could pitch tent.
John and his wife go through a lot of work for this event and I just hope it continues. The hospitality of them both is just overwhelming. Ken
