I didn`t want to be waiting around for a response to my Q as some were when I wished to purchase an engine he didn`t have listed for sale on ebay, I asked him a question on an ebay item of his and got a reply while others were were still waiting for a prior email reply from him.
I had my engine I requested in hand before the other guys even got their replies. I don`t recall the cause for his slower response to emails but I got the job done by going to the scourse of his interests so to speak.
Just a helpful tip

I know J but that's for stuff he's got 'in stock' I'd guess.
I started chasing him I think late September for a
Bespoke. I know I'm getting close now.

Re: Ronald Valentine Nano Bee
If you want one of Ronalds creations then keep an eye on his Ebay shop.
http://stores.ebay.com/Ronald-Valentines-Hobby-Shop
Visit it regularly!
He often puts engines like the Nano Bee on there as "buy it now". There was one in the last fortnight and it was snapped up very quickly! "Now you see it, now you don't". If you dither and procrastinate you will miss it.
All his engines are hand crafted, not in any way "mass produced", and he is a perfectionist. They are the "jewels" of Model Engine engineering and worth waiting for!
Minature masterpieces!

Re: Ronald Valentine Nano Bee
Hello, I contacted Ron about the nano bee
He says the bee is $500.00 plus shipping
Cant afford it now... maybe i could get the piston and connecting rod just to look at until i save up enough money for the whole engine

Re: Ronald Valentine Nano Bee
just looked at the quaker flash plan even closer.... uses a peewee with 5.250'' prop
might just build this for one of the peewee's that i have so that i can fly one, and another scaled down version with the same trim scheme as the larger for the nano bee

Ronald Valentine Blitz
Get one while you can!
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Valentines-Blitz-0-05-cc-Model-Diesel-Engine-NIB-/390549516809?pt=US_Character_Radio_Control_Toys&hash=item5aee90b209
I have run one of these wonderful creations.
It is hard to imagine that it was created manually (no CNC) on one of these:
A Triumph 2000 lathe
http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Triumph+2000+lathe&hl=en&rlz=1W1MXGB_enGB524&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=AuwsUfO0I-mX0QXQu4CABw&ved=0CD0QsAQ&biw=1673&bih=843
The box proudly displays "Made in U.S.A." even though Ronald used a British lathe!

Re: Ronald Valentine Nano Bee
Im thinking of actually getting this engine instead of the nano bee...
http://www.ronald-valentine-engines.com/75_Orkan_28.html
I did some research, first looking for glow engines with a similar size cylinder for. 40, 100, 120? no 180 size then found the discplacement of the engine which is 28cc, could have just looked at the name lol

Re: Ronald Valentine Nano Bee
You could always try one of these
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SO7PCnVCv0
This one is the Diva .098, of which there are many variants, and there is also the Rova series. These are the easiest minatures to start off with.

He told us some weeks ago that he did not renew the domain as it was not worth maintaining the site (mainly getting spam).
