On any engine that has the Killer Bee crank, they have the larger drive plate. Any one know the reason why, over the regular drive plate?

There may be an argument made in regards to inherent mass and the resulting quasi-flywheel effect but, personally, I would think aesthetics are at the forefront here.

Plus, we can charge more for those lol!

It could have something to do with how their machinery was set up. The thicker zero drag plates used on engines like the Killer Bee/Venom appear to be snap starter hex plates with the hex removed. I believe that most of their bee engines used the hex plates since the mid-late 1980s.

A lot of old engines used this plate as a means of increasing the weight of an engine, particularly if lighter than the norm. So that if it replaced and engine of lesser performance, the aircraft would not need rebalancing.
