That's downright scary. That's the one they should have called a Bee. I was worried your fingers were getting too slippery and it was gonna come sting me.

Now, get a shop rag and take it and the camera outside!

It's a Kyosho Minium so it is a 1s lipo with a geared motor swinging a HUGE 5+1/4 inch prop.
All up it's 30grams.
Putting the 010 in it will prob knock it up to 70 grams.
That's a big increase in wing loading.

Very Happy

Has it got some down thrust, or is it just the picture that looks like it? I know some planes need a bit of down to stabilize them.

Being that I'm tentatively gaining interest in RC, is that a standard RC starting point? Because in CL, I always add only outboard thrust. I do remember the PT-19 had a down thrust setting for beginners.

Careful Rusty it's a very slippery slope
Very Happy
Yes down thrust almost mandatory sometimes more
Than 5 degs.
Lack of downthrust is what you'll see at the field when
Guys open their throttles Rusty and the plane starts to
Climb markedly.

Ah yes, I remember from my only RC flight(actually I already knew it about full scale), that you control climb and descent with the throttle. I read a good article in Model Aviation about angle of attack and stalling. Then I got to comparing the stall of the main wing with stalling of the elevator, as can be so perilous in CL. Impossible to recover from on the downside of a loop if the wing stalls, maybe possible if the elevator stalls and you have the reflexes of a bat.
