50th Anniversary Flight Video- Pageboy with Cox TD .010
My tribute to Ken Willard. 50 years after he designed and flew the Pageboy which mixed the Cox TD .010 and radio control equipment to make the official world's smallest RC plane.

That is amazing Troy!
On "the day" Ken flew it on many different wings all the way down to I think 8"

That's true. I, however, have no interest in flying it on wings that small! she's flies plenty good like she is.

Very nice job on this. I have Shoolboy and plan on getting Pageboy. Looks like it flys just fine.

Thanks for the tribute Tee Bee.
That's an amazing little engine. I've never seen one in real life. I was even shocked at how small a PeeWee is when Microflitedude showed me his. I'd love to have one of these to play with. I'd probably need 15 foot threads to fly it on. I bet it would pull them tight with no problem.

Pat Ling offers micro ringmaster and flights streak kits for .010, I made a thread about lines on RCU the conclusion was for the .010 you wanted 15-20' and 0.006-0.008 steel wire.

I'm sure we can do something interesting with it. We would need an external tank for it. (non tanked version)
Re: 50th Anniversary Flight Video- Pageboy with Cox TD .010
The only way to fly!. I'm done with tanked engines wherever possible. I like the simplicity of external fuel; no gaskets, venturi seals, pickup tubes, leaks, and as much fuel as it can lift. And if you like aerobatics, non tanked engines are shorter, which gives it a better moment of inertia.microflitedude wrote:RknRusty wrote:Thanks for the tribute Tee Bee.
