Stupid question of the day.....
What in the world is 3D? Besides the movies in which you wear the funny glasses.

Flying a plane like it's a helicopter.
Re: Aewsome but way too much $$$
Oh, really? You just hang off the prop and fly into walls?
So basically it's an overpowered plane that uses the prop wash to pass air over the control surfaces. Is that right?
Couldn't any plane be 3D then? Assuming you can overpower it?

Re: Aewsome but way too much $$$
No that was bad example
3D planes have HUGE control surfaces
Are way over powered by normal standards.
they use large diameter low pitch propellors.
Feature symetrical airfoils and are aerodinamically nutreal.
(Sorry it is a bad spelling day)

Good show Matt, actually you are the one that helped me make the right choice of first 3D plane
Got a MoJo 60 coming sometime in the near future

It's the video games!!!! Younger guys have better dexterity.
Looks like a good landing as opposed to a mistake Matt.

Uber lite?
Yes they are very expensive
If I was going to get into this I would start at $99 for the Hobico UberLite
This is the electric powered, 2.4GHz radio controlled, ready to fly
Überlite 2-in-1 Feather-light Flyer from FlyZone by Hobbico.
Flies indoors or outdoors on calm days.
FEATURES: Snap-n-Fly construction includes a monoplane and biplane foam
airframe with a flight module that holds all the electronics and
powers the airframes
Flight module slides easily onto airframe and magnetically clips into
place, module holds the motor, ESC/RX chip, LiPo battery, carbon
fiber prop and wire wheels

I used to play video games, but rarely now. Not enough time between school and Cox stuff.
The Parkzone Vapor is an excellent plane to start with ultra lightweight planes.

Google to the rescue.
I like racing games and simulation better, never had any FPS or "shoot 'em up" games.

Hand built, some of the radio equipment is also built by hand. Once you have seen one up close, it is easier to appreciate.
