Rest in peace Tommy Smothers
Just heard that Tommy Smothers died a couple days ago. He was a very funny man. If anyone knows how to post a YouTube video on here , the one about John Henry is very funny

Re: Rest in peace Tommy Smothers
I was just talking to the wife today about the current state of comedy. There is none.
Red Skelton, Jackie Gleason, Johnny Carson, Carol Burnett, Smothers Brothers, Rodney Dangerfield, George Carlin,
Jonathan Winters, Tin Conway just a few of the top of my head.
Today I got nothing, sad.

What they call comedy today is a crying shame compared with yesteryear. That is why I might listen to the Dry Bar Comedy channel on YouTube, because otherwise, some of the newer comedians are anything but funny.
RIP Tommy Smothers.

Jack Parr had a dry sense of humor that I enjoyed, going back......Bob Hope and Burns and Allan (George and Gracie), Flip Wilson....Imogene and the church of what's happening now. Today I can't think of one that I like, too political or ethnic.
