The K&B 1L is a very good plug for stunt. It's a hot plug which works excellent in Mccoy's, Fox's and most older designs. It would work equally as well in new designs. Currently , the MECOA thieves are selling them for $17 a piece and gracefully offering shipping for $8.

How well does the K&B 1L work in an aftermarket Cox .049 long plug adapter head? Just curious. I could be wrong, but I am thinking that it was commonly thought back then, that engines smaller than .19's used short plugs.

I was back in Portland a few weeks ago and went to the local hobby shop that has lots of old stuff that's been on the back wall for 30 years. There are a bunch of these in a box for something like $4.98 each. I didn't grab them, but I did grab about five Thunderbolt Long for $3.49 each. If they're still there next year when I go back (which I can pretty much guarantee), I'll buy them all up. In fact, I guess I should buy all the old plugs up and sell them on the hobby boards for a reasonable price.
