Was the case drilled to accept the spraybar of the OS unit? I would imagine that spraybar has a bit more diameter over a stock unit. The .039 is one of those engines caught in between prop sizes. A APC 4.6x3 might be a good option. I certainly would keep the load light.

I compared the needle assembly to the one I pressed out of the first engine and found the OS unit to be slightly smaller so it looks to be a near drop in fit…. The Cub spray bar
is .125” and the OS is .120”….Photo below …

Interesting at least to me anyway, His results showed a peak HP of about .030 (about 22 watts)…. Compared to a PeeWee’s 26 watts….Would be an ideal engine for some of the sport free flight designs from around the same period as the engine IMO….
