This No.2 cylinder is very good for everyday flying. Unless you want to swap in a No 1., you can slightly ramp up its output with a stock high compression head or, even more so with a turbo head..

Re: COX 049 Product Engine '76 - type confirm .
Thanx for the comments, looks its 1973.-76. product engine ECJ #28 a-g , having shorter needle , as listed in C.M.E.H. book at pages 22/23.
Will test it today , on ME-109 Stunter replica.
Initially, brand new Cox .049 Production Engine PT-19 ( from coxengines.ca) was installed , but have problem with glowhead/cilynder thread leaking , changing glowheads and gaskets does not change anything, simply replaced engine with this ECJ # 28, and will solve this leaking later, durring the winter days , trying to catch last sunny and no wind days here.
Thanx

The test was performed successfully. ECJ # 28 runs well, and more, it pulls great through flight balsa replica Me109 Super Stunter.
