Wanted Cox Interceptor wanted

Post  josh.ppa Sun Sep 22, 2019 10:19 pm

Looking for the old RC Car interceptor. There are a couple on eBay right now but the sellers can't confirm they run or they are in poor condition.
looking for one in at least fair/good condition, It does not have to have the RC transmitter (controller) as I plan to custom add new steering servo and a throttle option that will work on 2.4 ghz transmitter (controller)
Lastly can a standard 0.49 engine be used in one of these as a replacement if the engine doesn't work?

I saw that one. I have it on my watch list. It’s got some kind of liquid all over it on the inside. Could be burnt oil? But it’s def the right price. Still has a couple days on auction. I’ll jump on it if it doesn’t get too expensive. These things are going for as much as a brand new modern rc nitro car cost lol.
