Be careful as Rockets have a CG as well, pretty sure that little guy has upset that tremendously.

Actually, that heavy weight on the nose will add stability. You want the CG ahead of the Center of Pressure (I think that is what it is called). As long as the CG is closer to the nosecone, the rocket will "weather vane" to a stable condition. Very much like a nose heavy airplane lawn-darting into the ground once.power is off.

Just got through watching that movie. Wow! I want a copy for my library. My wife told me we saw it before. I don't remember that. Hmmm. Another topic for another venue. But, great movie!

Glad you got to watch it Jim. Some of the acting is a little cheesy, but overall it's a fantastic story. Some of the Kiwi language may need interpreting Laughing

but I'm sure most could follow it.

If you get a chance, look up the original documentary "Offerings to the God of Speed".

Puts thing in perspective.
