Stock except for suspension pegs and copious amounts of plastic glue and epoxy, fitting most likely in "Stock" class but can be moved into any class that the judges see fit. 

A favorite among favorites despite being the most frustrating of all my Cox products.

Cox Prop Rod i bought a few years ago , engine that i have fixed and test ran a few yrs. ago  Had to repair the engine mount cause the other was broken and PO Glued it on ???? W#as going to use a Space Bug JR. that i had dyed to Black but didn't make a hole for it to breath so abort that . Also split the wooden mount i had made putting the screws in (ran against the plastic) Seemed tight enough anyway /////>> I did pull the wheels off so i could clean the axles and lube Homemade the wire and bridle setup with wire and crimps using a bearing race for the pivot against a 15 cent alum. nail. OK Her are a couple pics. and video from today. Trying to run my Cox Prop Rod But first The engine did Not want to run then didn't want to run in the right direction ?!?!!

 HOLD ON TO UR PANTIES          engine only wants to run counter clockwise !!    The only time i got it to go the right way i got a vid. of my pocket and knee driving

Here's finky. He's too egocentric to stay out of the car contest!! Ok here's the back story. My wife and I were grocery shopping at Walmart. When we checked out and came back to our car there was a shopping cart in front of our car. When I looked in the cart someone had left a rat trap in the cart. So I took it. When I got home I thought what can I make out of this trap. Rat fink came to my twisted mind, and so it goes! Finky is a revell model with daisy bb eyes. Hand painted with .049 engine . The idea was to keep it in the rat fink tradition, cartoonish if you will. Mark

Jerobee Greenwood Corvette with Cox 049 Babe Bee








The Jerobee RC car was the first 1/12 car produced. At the end of the 60’s and beginning of the 70’s; RC cars became the new vogue in modelling. The then existing 1/8 cars were expensive. Rocket Research from Washington brought the Jerobee on the market in mid 1971 with the aim to offer an RC car for less than 100 USD.

The local newspaper The Sammamish Valley New published this article in August 1971:





Originally, Jerobee, a company name of Rocket Research, manufactured a wide range of machine screws. In June 1972, the machine screw business was sold and in 1973, Rocket Research sold Jerobee to Jomac Industries, a new company established by Don McKay and John Congdon.

What makes the Jerobee worth collecting is that this car was not only the first 1/12 scale car but was also the start of a new model racing class, first for gas powered cars and later with electric power. Other makes that started manufacturing 1/12 cars often used the complete Jerobee chassis as a base. Jerobee was very popular because of the availability of spare parts which included parts for the Cox 049 BabeBee and TeeDee.

Fuel tank; external Perfect brand #18 9.85cc short-standard wedge.
Drive-wheel; 1.5" x 1.0" (rear/direct-drive)
Rear/outboard wheel; .125" x 1.5" mounted on a stationary .125"d. x 7.0" length music-wire axle.
Front wheels; .187" x 1.125" hardwood, mounted on a floating .062"d. x .750" length music-wire axle.
Tether-bridle; .062"d. music-wire 45 degree floating "V" with adjustable yaw.
Weight; 5.6oz.

Modified  Cox 1972 AMC Matador "Adam-12", free run car with cam steering.

This vehicle has been modified for use with 1/14 scale Remote control Trucking and Construction equipment at indoor meets and public events.




All light lenses have been removed, various parts drilled, LEDs modified to fit, and reinstalled. It's running 2 headlights, 2 amber markers, 2 red markers, 6 red taillights, 2 red fwd roof, 2 amber aft roof. The roof lights each have 3 runs of 0.005" magnet wire installed through the bases to power both 3mm leds inside.

The roof antenna was broken above the loading coil, so it was replaced by some monofilliment fishing line with the tip melted into a ball. All chrome has been touched up or added using Molotow paint pens.

The chassis has been modified to fit an electric transaxle with a 130 motor and spool diff, as well as accepting the new electronics. I had adapter bushings milled to fit the stock steelie wheels to the new axle. The rear cross brace is a more secure way than stock to keep the rear body from dropping too low



It's running a Flysky Fs-i6 6 ch 2.4ghz radio, 7.2v nimh battery, 30a esc with brake, 130 size brushed motor, mini servos, an Evan Design police siren with 4 modes, and 2 servo boads converted into light controllers.
