A New Inheritance

A New Inheritance
Hi all. So yesterday while doing a field clean up, another member had asked if I was interested in a partially built Sig Twister. An older gentleman he knew was moving and if nobody wanted it, it was going to be trashed. So, I went to rescue it. Fuse is built and covered, tail surfaces covered and the rudder and fin needs to be glued on. Wing is mostly built, needs a couple touch ups, and flaps are missing so need to be made. Anyways, while grabbing the Twister, he also asked if I would be interested in the following model. I said sure, and how much. He just said he needs it gone so take it. It was gifted to him from a past member of the club, and ironically, this is a model from the first person I met at the field, and I also believe from what I remember, this was the first big control line model I ever saw first hand. Now it is in my posession. It is kind of sentimental to me with its past history. It would be nice to know the model or make of it before I give it a whirl. I will not be doing much with this model besides straight circles, this is once I get my feet wet again this year with a bigger model. I asked another member if he knew anything about it and am presently waiting to hear back. All I know is that it has a Fox .35 engine installed and is a 40" wingspan and flapped.

Wow! That is good looking. Of course, clean the tank and engine before a benchrun. Double-check all the common stuff...sling it in circles and giggle at your good fortune.
I'm jealous...
Some guys have all the luck!

Re: A New Inheritance
Thanks guys. I got a reply back from another member, and it sounds like it was his own design. Apparently he called it a Fokker Faker. So this part is teh most concerning as there are no plans available that I am aware of, but will be asking club members. It would just be nice to have plans in case of.......
