Will a pee wee .020 run decent on a bladder?

Will a pee wee .020 run decent on a bladder?
I am concerned about using the stock fuel tank with a short fuel
pick-up hose to limit run time.
The model is a Sniffer, which may as well be a Pee Wee 30 FF.
Normally they would use a small glass eye-dropper as a fuel
tank. But recently I saw a Sniffer photograph using a bladder.
Unfortunately using the stock tank with the short pick-up hose
creates a problem filling the tank and adjusting the needle because
it is too close to the windshield.
Is a bladder too much fuel pressure for a reed-valved engine?
Thanks

Bill,
It’s all about the needle. Fine threads work well on pressure and standard threads do not. In your application You may have some trouble.
Some interesting things have been happening lately that would really enhance the .020
Most notably the .020 product backplates that would allow a fine thread needle.
For now your best bet would be a TD .020 with a KK needle.

A Pee Wee will run fine with a drilled out tank plumbed to an external tank on suction. On the Sniffer you could install a large tank inside nose for long R/C runs and you can also provide an external mount on side of fuselage for an eyedropper for short test flights and/or F/F work.

Try using a balloon if the pressurized fuel supply from a bladder is not a must. I fly R/C and all my COX engines in the 010...09 size range are fed from balloons (simple party balloons sold in toyshops). Resistant to nitro fuel. Light. No need for vent pipe and heavy clunk inside the tank, no foaming, no bubbles in the feedline. Cheap and reliable.

Re: Will a pee wee .020 run decent on a bladder?
Any idea on how long a eye-dropper will run for?
Was there a special .020 needle, or was it just a modified KK .049 128tpi needle?
Can a Pee Wee back-plate be modified to fit a 128tpi needle?
Thanks

An eye dropperful with about 4 to 5 inches of fuel line ought to go from 35 to 50 seconds on a Pee Wee. I have a Dakota FF with a cox .049 single port horseshow that will run about 25 to 30 seconds on 12 ml eyedropperful with out 4 inches of fuel line. I never launch it full however.
