Man!! This is the exact same Roaring 20 I have just overhauled and sung about its maiden flight with a 010 in its nose..an absolute rarity and if someone has the top $$$$$$$ for it I recommend to buy it. A big-time, high-wing stable RC cruiser for your 010 and 020 powerplants.

Unless you are someone who absolutely must have this kit and box to display, the aircraft authored by small sport plane authority, Ken Willard, was first made available in the 1960's as a plan, then as a Top Flite kit. It is available on Outerzone.balogh wrote:Man!! Kit cost me something like $4.50 in 1973, I think I mail ordered it from Hobby Shack in California. I built the plane back then as my second aircraft after the T/F R/C Schoolboy kit, reused the Pee Wee I bought for something like $4 or $5. It was a blast on Ace R/C rudder only pulse, stunted better than the Schoolboy, was a real blast to fly. Still have the rubber band on landing gear with wood wheels and bulldog with machine gun decal somewhere (never mounted decal on the aircraft).
With less than $10 wood, one can roll their own kit and scratch build it. The only difference is the M.A.N. magazine plan has the "easier to scratch build" built up cover with tissue wing, the kit had a 1/20th inch thick balsa planked wing.
