Please help me identify this COX throttle ring
I have 2 of these COX RC throttle rings and I can't identify what engine they are for. I thought they would fit the .09 but they are to big. The inside diameter of the ring is 27/32. Can anybody tell me wfat they will fit?
Thanks,
George

Re: Please help me identify this COX throttle ring
Well too big for a .09 and the next one up is a .15 and from that a .40 so yeah that should fit a .15 most of them a sportsman, medallion, tee dee but not the Olympic I beleive.
Re: Please help me identify this COX throttle ring
They probably fit a Medallion 15. I'll check mine when I get home.

Well there was an RC version othe sportsman .15 that featured a throttle ring and an RC medallion with it and I think maybe a tee dee too.
Re: Please help me identify this COX throttle ring
I measured my Medallion 15 cylinder and the outer diameter is .845" which is close to 27/32. Did you use a caliper to measure the ID of the ring? Some rings were designed to fit the precision ground cylinders and do not work on standard cylinders. The precision ground cylinders provided a better fit between the cylinder and the ring.
