Just click on the posters name. It will bring up a screen asking if you would like to PM.
Failing that just click on messages at the top (will say “you have no new messages”) if your inbox is empty.
A box will pop up and on the upper left of the screen an icon for New PM will appear click on that and enter the username you wish to PM.

Yes, I still have it. It'll put it in an envelope and see what my Post Office says it will cost, and get back to you!

Postman says about a buck and a half to send it your way. Not enough to bother with PayPal. PM me your full address and I'll get it on it's way to you !

Thank you!! I got ALOT out of the booklet I read it from cover to cover just before, oh how I wish I was 10-15 back in 1960. The pricing is unbelievablely cheap, too bad it’s not for sale by them anymore.

some of us older kids play a bit of math psychology so we are not sticker shocked with some of today prices of things
First trick is to try and remember an hourly wage we had in 1960 and then figure that new Cox engine for $3.95 represented one days wages! Back then rent, fuel, groceries, taxes, utilities did not usually leave one days wages free for the toy engine. So we saved a dime or quarter a week for months to be able to get that little piece of precision fun
another fun fact is that much of what we can buy today is actually cheaper despite the 30~60 years of inflation
I can still today thanks to Bernie and Matt buy a typical Cox .049 engine in the 25 to 30 dollar range...brand new....taking the 1960 $3.95 price and doing the 59 years worth of inflation...well George Ghostler is better at this than I am ----so I will just pull out of my butt cuz I do not know the real factor... but Matt or Bernie's engines should be above $100....
Except the market will not bear that much inflated cost
TeeDees are desirable still and command around $100+ vs the way back then price of $7.89+/-

Re: Display Card for Tee Dee .051
Yes, that wage thing.
In the early 1950's I was working on a poultry farm for fifty cents an hour, $5.00 for a ten hour day, summers a six day week. Took me most of a day just to buy that $3.95 Space Bug Jr.. More when you threw in cement and fuel.
Took me months to save up eighty bucks to buy my first car, a 1937 Ford coupe.
No complaints though. Kept me in cars, guns, girls, and model engines (in that order) for my Jr. and Sr. high school years.
But, in the 1970's I was buying them for as little as $5.77 (marked down) and $15.00

Here’s a calculator for converting ”old money” to current equivalent:
https://www.usinflationcalculator.com
Bob’s Ford was about $760 in today’s money, I guess that’s about the same as running and roadworthy cars start at today?

Re: Display Card for Tee Dee .051
Ok yeah that makes a lot more sense, imagine being able to buy these for this price today though. Although they probably could not make them today for this price.
Yes most of the TeeDee engines I’ve looked at for sale are like $150-250 AUD......Then however much that person decided to charge for shipping ($10-60 AUD). Some engines are just to expensive for me as I don’t have the ‘re-living my childhood’ thing going on.
I was born in 85, by then things were different, skateboarding, Nintendo’s, BMX riding etc, and the fact that I never had a father figure to teach or play with this kind of thing. So now I’m doing on my own and teaching MY kids what I never got the opportunity to play with.
