A friend of mine has the electric version. He also collects HO scale slot cars.

A fellow flyer Frank Imbriaco from the Garden State Circle Burners collects those Mustangs. He has several and he was selling some of them last year. I noted that most of his were of a gray color and not the red you show. Highly detailed however and remarkable quality. Ken

Thanks guys. My son bought it on ebay last week to augment his Mustang memorabilia, rare to find on with the box. This is the electric version.
Then this one turned up yesterday, a Wen-Mac glow fuel tether car so I bought it for him to compliment the electric version.
It looks like it has a restrictive exhaust throttle but I see no control function.
