Some great deals!!!!!!!!!!

I thought I'd share some recent good deals, like I needed any more planes/engines in my lifetime. Let's just say, I know I have a problem and feel some shame every once in a while.

I went to an auction last Wednesday and the Saturday before. I'd heard they had a large amount of control line STUFF. "They" were right! This guy was having a 'living' estate auction. I heard they had to send a semi trailer to get it all. Anyway, I bought stuff for my buddy who owns the LHS, my eldest son, and myself. I paid $50 for one of these kits, I think the Nobler. And paid $15 each for the other three kits.

Bought this kits and .09 for $50 today, from my buddy who owns the LHS, some one had dropped off a bunch of stuff they wanted sold from his friend who had passed away. I thought/hoped the .09 would be a good fit for this kit. I thought it would be a cool match.

Duke, you picked up some nice classic model kits there at very, very reasonable prices!
I'm trying to convince myself to quit work and retire to spend more time building the kits I've stashed away over the years. I bought them at an estate sale, they'll get resold at an estate sale(mine)!! Oooooh and I like your 09 with throttle and muffler, for "the Bomb"
Must be nice to have a friend who owns a hobby shop. Very Happy

My wife happened to bring a kit to the LHS, which I bought for my buddy as we were making the deal for the .09 and Bombshell. I hoped she would only see me getting a check for the kit I bought for him. The wife thinks I only need one or two planes at a time. I don't know that it's a blessing to have a friend who owns the LHS, yesterday I asked if he thought he was going to hell for being my drug(hobby) dealer. lol!

I do like to throw him my support, instead of the internet. When my wife showed up, I told her she could bring all my plane stuff to the LHS when I die too. She didn't think that was funny. I can't wait to build the Bombshell, think I'll cover it in tissue.
