Cox Engine of The Month
Space Hopper for sale.

Space Hopper for sale.
I hope it's OK to offer up an engine. I should have mentioned this when I posted about the .051 Medallion. I have a Space Hopper, pristine bubble box, and even the cardboard sleeve, marked $6.95. Has the paperwork, wrenches, and the plastic motor mounts.
Since I just came aboard it seemed appropriate to offer this SH here before hitting eBay.
Thanks

Re: Space Hopper for sale.
HEY, I'll take it at the tagged price, if that's what you're offering......just to save you paying ebay fees ..
I know you are still to New to be able to post pictures, so I'll take it "site unseen"
I've done some research......you are NOT associated with the the Rock group!
You are the owner/operator of this really cool web site: http://www.theaerosmith.com/
WOW, I am impressed, thanks for joining in and sharing your knowledge with us.

I'm discovering things about this site every time I go on it...seems like a game of hide and seek.
Six years ago I sold a NIB/sleeve 'Hopper for an estate sale. It brought $167. I paid about that five years ago for this one. I hadn't looked at eBay to see what they are bringing, so really not prepared. If a buck and a quarter is all I can get, I'll hang on a while.
I have several NIB Killer Bees, too (Real ones, not Estes 290 motors with KB rear ends, wrong NV, no trick crank, let alone they used product motor pistons and cylinders...shoddy business practice for starters. Anyway, I need to research recent sales on them, too. Open to offers...

You're welcome to offer up engines, parts and accessories here on the forum. Save on eBay fees while selling to fellow members. If you haven't yet, take a look at the **READ BEFORE POSTING ANY TOPICS** How to sell or ask for items on this forum!, basically goes over how to set up listings and common sense stuff.
Here's how to upload and post pictures in a topic. It may be confusing for awhile but you'll get the hang of it.
Welcome back to the forum!
Re: Space Hopper for sale.
Bob, what do you mean by hide and seek?
I work PT as a cashier at at large retailer, and I get this all the time from shoppers ....."you are going to charge me the price as marked, aren't you??......response is usually....."No, I can't charge you $6.95 for a $169.50 chain saw." Somehow someone (not you the customer) has put the wrong tag on this item, sorry for the inconvenience, but the actual price is $169.50.
You have a couple of choices for your SH:
1- sell it on e-b with the fees and such, get the market price for the North America region (maybe)
2- sell it on the CEF auction thread ....be the first to utilize this feature
3- sell it in the For Sale/Wanted section for your set price or highest/ best offer.
4- sell it to Bernie @ cox intl, who has a large collection of Cox products, with access to international customers. I'm sure you could name your price and it'll sell.
5- keep it, play with it or just look at it in the package and know you have something of value ( ooh, my precious...)
6- whatever you want to do with it.
You used my quote about calling shotgun first, I hope you and the others understand I was trying to be humorous. I know $6.95 is a ridiculous low price for what you have to sell. $125 is still to low, I hope you can sell it to who ever offers you a fair price for what it's worth.
In fun and frivolity,
Marleysky

LOL... as I said "If not sold" and, of course, I was assuming you were facetious about the $6.95

Re: Space Hopper for sale.
You don't see many NIB Space Hopper on eBay, the last one I saw went well over 200$.
They are very nice in a colorful box, I would like to have one.

Re: Space Hopper for sale.
We get them every now and then and list them for $295; and they move fairly quickly at that price.
Re: Space Hopper for sale.
lol, IDK, to me its just good to see Bob B. posting...
Happy Dad, its a Space Hopper, not a SBJ,
big difference.
Bob, i don't think you noticed, but the guy who thought the engine is worth 125 is a 12 year old kid.

That looks right to reach the NFFS Medallion page, but it's easy to reach www.theaerosmith.com and click on the Medallion page.

well again I apologize. I did a search on Cox Space Hopper and the SBJ was the only thing to show up. It was late, and "something happens when you get old, but I can't remember what it is" anon.
