Spiraling my faithful old sailplane in and out of the small-town ball field where I learned to fly my Cox PT-19.

We had a miniature, back-porch family reunion yesterday, with my younger brothers from Florida and a bunch of friends coming and going through the day.

During a lull in the visiting, I took the Assault Van over to the ball park that holds so many great memories from my early teens.  I almost waited too late as the light was fading fast, and the mosquitoes were out in force, but still got in a couple flights with the GoPro rubberbanded to the B.O.T.'s snout.

The 3-Meter B.O.T. is a little higher tech than my beloved PT's, but it STILL had to fly in a circle until the Medallion could pull it above the ball field light poles, and then once again on landing as it spiraled off it's momentum to slide in for a landing in the grass.

The close-up (and rather grainy) stills are captures from a key fob cam on my Parkzone E-Champ that I was flying around the house earlier in the day.
