Hi n-rob
Basically what happens when you put an image in a message on this forum is that you are just putting in a link or reference to an image that is hosted elsewhere. The tag "img" surrounded by square brackets starts the link and the tag "/img" ends the link
e.g.
- Code:
[img] link to image [/img]
or
[img]http://i46.servimg.com/u/f46/15/46/86/41/cox_en10.png[/img]
When you click on the "Host an Image" link, you upload the file to somewhere it can be displayed from.
The links automatically provided when your upload finished are presented to you to copy and paste into the message.
Your images dont have to be stored there, you may have a link to them elsewhere, ie if they are already on the internet
e.g. here's a pic from my web site
You can use the "Preview" button to see if it all displays as you like before hitting "Send" posting the message to the forum.
I hope this helps!
