Defective Glowhead?
I tried a new current production Cox glowhead but no glow any. I tried another glowhead and it glows with same glowhead clip and battery. Have you experienced this before?

Defective Glowhead?
Sounds like you may have received a bad glowhead, so far, I have not come across a bad new one, but it is not unheard of. If you have access
to an Ohmmeter, you could test for continuity from the nipple on top of the head to the fins, the reading should be very low, 1 ohm or less would be
my guess, if the head is bad the reading will be very high or OL

Re: Defective Glowhead?
Yes, I tested with an ohmmeter and it reads around zero ohm. I suspect a short circuit between glow head body and top, in other words between negative and positive poles. Must a tiny aluminum dust perhaps and cleaned it with alcohol and brush, but I couldn't find a particle any. Went to junk, alas.

RE:Defective Glowhead?
Well, curiosity got the best of me, so I tested a couple heads with my digital meter, .4 or .5 ohms seems to be the norm.

Levent,
Considering where you are,.you may want to keep the dead.ine and convert it to a turbo plug adapter. There are posts here and RCUniverse for that. At least it won't go to waste.
