Car Crankshafts

Car Crankshafts
In my box of parts I found three car crank cases and crank shafts… Two with tapered front end and one with splines….Plus a normal but broken shaft on far right in the photo…. Is there an off the shelf drive plate to convert to prop for any of these?…. In Paul Gibeault’s mouse engine article he mentions them but says there noticeably slower…. But that’s for racing…. Maybe sport use is OK?…. Anyone with experience with this?

And they also sell the car crankcase with crankshaft and drive hub for $6.95, vs $2.95 for teh hub alone, if that interests you.

Re: Car Crankshafts
In my opinion, to use a car engine for a plane does not make any sense maybe to turn a bigger propeller can be better not to self-destruct the engine It is engine we were designed to receive more axial pressure
