That's the first thing I thought, Ron, then I thought, Jeweler's loupe, tweezers, micro tip for the CA glue, 911Cribbs74 wrote:Good work! Now you just need to make a mini kit to put inside!
on the speed dial. The age spec would read, "not for children under 25 years or over 60 years old".
Plus, the plan would be impossible to read.

Re: Miniature Model Kit Boxes
Hi Levent, I look at your miniature works and they are really very beautiful.
I have an idea to complete your beautiful boxes and that they are even useful, I'll tell you about it.
Look, the R / C aerobatics pilots train with a model that carries a stick to be able to take it with the hand and thus project the maneuvers in the air by manipulating this model and that way the model aircraft is better interpreted in flight.
When I participated in meetings, I reviewed the maneuvers with these models.
They are handmade by myself, they are made of wood covered with heat-shrinkable material (monokote), the simulation of the propeller, it is a piece of acetate cut in a circle. the model can be assembled and disassembled if necessary.
So, you could make a model like these for each type of box you have and so the user could enjoy a model that even serves to project their imaginary flight, before actually doing it with the model aircraft, or else observe it as a kit to assemble. inside its box.
You know, many of us adore these things and more than one would like to have something like that.
Just think about it, maybe you like the idea.
Here are some photos of my model and my real model in flight.

Re: Miniature Model Kit Boxes
Those are great! I agree, you need to make a tiny kit now to put in those boxes.
Re: Miniature Model Kit Boxes
Maybe ordinary "paper" could be used for the wing-skins? A single sheet of 8.5" X 11" paper might be big enough to contain all the necessary outlines for a given design. Maybe "two" pieces would be needed.. but when folded appropriately; would fit nicely into your little boxes. A "cri-cut" machine could easily make wing-ribs/bulkheads/formers from card-stock. You'd need to experiment with some assembly templates.. but that would be right-up-your-alley Levent. Start with a simple scale-model design/static-display miniature model-kit to be assembled with maybe a glue-stick.. double-sided film-tape.. CA glue.. or whatever works best. If you can work-out a simple/effective assembly-system.. it could be applied to multiple designs.. and possibly flying-models.. (gliders)

Oofa, Roddie. that gets the juice's flowing, at least for me.roddie wrote:Maybe ordinary "paper" could be used for the wing-skins? All I can come up with after 20 minutes, is a foam board the same thickness
as card stock stock. It would be light enough to reinforce or double-up in
strategically placed areas to strengthen control surfaces and structures.
The only thing I've ever toyed with at this scale is "match rockets".
Wait, are we talking about a possibly flying craft in one of Levent's
kit boxes? Whoops, I just noticed the word "static". Never mind.

Re: Miniature Model Kit Boxes
YES Bob.. YES!! We're on the same wavelength.. ( I'm showing my age..) I see nano-scale color-prints of fuse-sides, upper/lower wing-skins and any special tail-details on user-choice copy paper.. to be simply cut-out from the sheet w/scissors. There are a myriad of thin-rigid materials that may lend themselves to being viable air-frame substrates in which to adhere the paper-skins.

Re: Miniature Model Kit Boxes
I think that a small rolled plan sheet, several balsa sheets, several balsa sticks, a small decal sheet, a little carved propeller, a rubber band, a piece of wire can be used to make a non-working model of a miniature kit.
Mauricio's idea is also good for a model plane for these boxes

Amazing Levent. You must get a lot of pleasure out of doing those.
