How long pieces do you need? The propeller screw that is meant to be used with the aluminum spinner is 1” (25mm) long.

While I do not have any 5-40 threaded rod, can you not take a 5-40 screw of the appropriate length and simply cut the head off of it?

Where are you? If all you need is 30 mm I'm sure one of us could buy a stick and mail you 30mm. It can't be too much to mail it in an envelope, can it?
It looks like a 2 foot stick is $7.50 via eBay. While wants a piece? We could carve it up and mail it in 4 inch chunks for six people. I know I would make use of a piece for props or prop drive plate installers.

So how much is a First Class letter to the Netherlands from USA? I figure it should not weigh beyond 50 grams.
