Cox Engine of The Month
Thermal Hopper Package Insert
Thermal Hopper Package Insert
I just aquired a Thermal Hopper from a local old-timer. It is in good condition and included the original blister pack, though it is cracked and very brittle. I am hoping to find the cardstock insert like the one that came with it. I would even be interested in a photocopied version on paper that I could cut out since this is simply for my own collection. Any help would be appreciated! Also, I'm curious to know what white Cox prop came with this engine originally. Mine has a Too Flite 5.25x4 mounted to it with an incorrect square nut. I plan to buy the proper spinner nut online.
My engine is pictured as is. The one with insert cardstock was found online.

Nice Looking engine TeeBee It says a 6x3 prop in the instun. sheet but not what kind ? If someone comes up with the insert we should have it put with the Instruction sheet for future fer. ? https://dbabd7f0-a-62cb3a1a-s-sites.googlegroups.com/site/nitroengine/Thermal%20Hopper.pdf?attachauth=ANoY7coNXsYIPupZut9UJqMFxIVTIZHv-a0fJ9RwkydGnNGg-uQMD_Bl0u5MsxsaNlYt8AND-8JbZ7utQyl5HNqm7VEs0dTUq6pkpGNHx0NcchX3mTwXQDQe0JxLKjpnN8V575ly5Ns96sEtB9sOBMn9okcSC6TU0WRMjsqNLlHUE0ky2X58rRc6Und1_bCmwsIa-uqugp0kmy5frA4uxSigdAodfBFDkQ%3D%3D&attredirects=0

Re: Thermal Hopper Package Insert
Tee Bee, if you can send Thermal Hopper insert measurements, I can redraw it in high resolution.

Wow, that would be a fantastic! The dimensions for the insert card are 3 7/8" x 6 1/2". BTW, you did great work on those battery boxes.
I also wonder if all these Thermal Hoppers came with the bird cage mount. Most of the pictures I've seen online show it in the package without the mount.

Re: Thermal Hopper Package Insert
We can certainly high-res scan the insert here if that is what you would like.
Re: Thermal Hopper Package Insert
Cox Thermal Hopper insert. A4 size, 300 dpi. Laser print on heavy cardboard gives best result.
Because I haven't this engine so if any change in cut out area needed then let me know.

Great work! Thanks for the effort, Levent. I look forward to the opportunity to print that out and cut it to fit. Will show the results afterward.

A good scan of the insert would be great, I had the same problem with a Strato Bug. I was able to copy a photo off of Marks site and work with it to make an insert.
You have a Strato insert also? My copy is OK but could be better.
The props that came on these early engines were made by KaySun, they show up on eBay once is a while.
Nice find!!!
