Leroy Cox Award on eBay

Leroy Cox Award on eBay
It's one of those Tee Dee 010s encased in whatever kind of clear plastic disc again.
Seller claiming to be Leroy Cox's grandson is selling what he says is an award given to his grandfather for making the worlds smallest production engine.
Here is the link: http://m.ebay.com/itm/142308449676
Not really my thing and probably well above my budget and level of enthusiasm for Cox stuff but I'm sure some here will get a kick from it.

Re: Leroy Cox Award on eBay
Why would AMA award Roy Cox with one of his own engines molded in plastic
I think this is a souvenir from some big-shot meeting. This one does have "the name" on it but the Graupner one was in better condition. Interesting to see how high the bidding goes.

Probably dodged a bullet. While it very well could have been the "real deal" without papers the providence would always be contested. In the end you would have a very expensive TD .010 in carbonite.
