I realize this has been posted before but, if anyone has any contact with this person, could you please ask him to contact me to resolve the $360 I am out of pocket?

Sad to hear but, before passing judgement, one needs to find out if this is intentional or if something happened to him.

For me this will be the reason to never, ever, pay by cheque again unless I first have the merchandise in my hands. $360 is a fair chunk of money

I don't know, I suppose it's possible something may have happened. One would think we would have heard something from someone if he was injured or worse. Nobody on this forum has a phone# or another way of contacting him?

A while Back did a purchase with JaspurX and it went well

I am lucky in that I read all the horror stories but only burned once on an internet sale/purchase

Fortunately my learning only cost $75

I hope Jarred surfaces soon as the item I got from him is one of my better Cox purchases

FWIIW... Others tell PayPal horror stories... Mine would be Western Union based.... To date I have traded cash for stuff very frequently on PayPal...100% satisfied with EVERY transaction

This is a hint to the very few who refuse to use the Pay Pal service

I phoned the new # and by the way the conversation went I am almost certain it was Jared, even though he said he was someone else; as the responses were really weird. Also, I thought I recognized his voice but can't swear to it.
