Re: What is on your bench right now?
On my bench sits an unfinished Dumas/Chris-craft RC/EP mahogany 28 1/2" (loa) 1940 Barrel-Back speed boat which is the most difficult model project that I've ever attempted by far.
Right now I'm trying to get the hang of applying the Ezpoxy finishing resin on the mahogany planked hull which is frustratingly difficult to do to my personal satisfaction having sanded off serveral attempts at a smooth finish. GRRRRRR!
I've seen these boats correctly done and they are absolutely BEAUTIFUL both on the display stand and zipping around under power in a lake.

I am sure you have reasearched what the full scale wood boats use for that thick smooth gloss.
