Front Yard Flying with the Scientific "Kingpin"

Heck it hauls the mail pretty good for a PeeWee , but would do the tricks ur wanting better with a .049 i think .

I didn’t realize there was a small Kingpin. I have only seen the larger .35 sized one.

Hey Ron,

My deal was just the opposite with Kingpin...only because my Uncle gave me a Jr. Kingpin when I was 14.  We never did get the cranky Pee Wee going dependably, but it was probably the fuel.  Back then, we ran whatever we could buy, with no thought to nitro content.

I only learned about the .35-size Kingpin when Mr. Musciano mentioned it in a nice letter he wrote when I was ordering plans from him in 2001.

Hey Eric,

For sure, an .049 would light up Kingpin like a combat wing, but this is yet another of my "flash-back nostalgia things", to let me thumb my nose at all the hassle and failure we had in the back in the day with these little suckers.

While making laps with Kingpin, I was mentally yelling, "YEAH!!!!  ANOTHER LAP!!!  TAKE THAT...AND THAT...AND THAT!!!!!!

All said, the Pee Wee runs well enough to be fun...I just got to work with it a bit more.
