Screen for a Tarno carb 20190515

I am hoping this make-shift screen I improvised and CA glued to a Tarno carb will boost the fuel suction power of this TD051 without deteriorating the top rpm..

What do you think? Very Happy

You will just have to run it and see, the question is do you have good data on that particular prop / fuel combo to compare
with it now? Is the temp the same and humidity etc.

Center of carb is higher then fuel tank, if you could rotate engine it might help with draw?

Thanks Brad and Mark...it is at the end of the flight when the mixture gets a bit lean that I want to avoid. Unfortunately the bolting to the firewall is asymmetric plus the position of throttle rod is fixed so I cannot rotate the engine mount to lower the carb position...we will see..on my TeeDee 09 the similar screen addition helped the fuel draw.
