Did you see the Model car sitting on top of the intake stacks. I couldn't quite read the valve covers. It might say MOPAR, but I'm not sure. Maybe Moroso.Admin wrote:https://sites.google.com/site/coxenginecollection/cox-engine-blog/1971coxpintofunnycarnotthemodel

I think they were Milodon, it is a bit hard to see. I do remember looking the car over and looking at every detail. I remember scanning the tables really close for Cox engines and items then I looked up and said "DAMN!". I found that $40 Cox Jeep there (not from the guy who had the actual car).

Nothing like pitting in the dirt at the dragstrip. done that, and done that!. Probably will again this summer. Spokane motorsports park is dirtball pit parking.

Yeah I changed a throwout bearing lying in sand and pinestraw at the dragstrip one time. It's been a long time since the days when I could lay a Muncie 4 speed on my chest and wiggle under the car, pick it up and jam it in the hole.

Lol, I had a 5.0 Mustang that had a bad tranny that I was dropping weekly trying to find the source of the problem. I didn't have enough money to do a rebuild. Same deal, benchpressed it in and out each time. Now I can drop and stab a T-5 in 45 Mins. There's a useless skill!

Had to bench press a turbo 400 in to place in the gravel,,sucked!
Tunnelling my way to the oil pan to do a oil swap. Reminded me of "The Great Escape" movie. On my back, wiggeling the boulders out of the way.
