A Sunny, Windy Day

A Sunny, Windy Day
Really TOO windy and the sun was in the wrong place for launching into the breeze…. But I hadn’t been out in awhile and the temp was nice….Keeping it upwind meant not far from the sun…. Lost it in the sun once but managed to crawl back from a couple hundred feet downwind when I found it again…. Video was not good due to the sun blinding the camera but pulled a few interesting still shots…. I’ll wait for a better weather day next time LOL!!!

Re: A Sunny, Windy Day
Hi rdw777,
Nice !
Last week there was very weird Feb weather here.
-3C night frost and +3C bright blue skies and rare calm'ish winds.
For four days I flew afternoon 20min flights.
Bright blue skies after months of clouds. The transparent yellow covering did it's neon thing.
The thermal activity was awesome.
Seemed like the frost turned to lift, and it did !
Getting out flying,
Keeps me building...
And... a Cox engine has the record for hp/wt.
Take care,
Have fun,
Dave
