That is one “Cool Copter”! Always have had a interest in flashy, spinning, flying things.
Designer Roy Clough Jr was a great one for “outside the box” models. While Walt Musicano was cranking out log-slabs, Roy tilted towards the other end of aeronautical flight!! Did a quick search on www.outerzone.uk and found some real intriguing designs.
SheetMetal Susie, Spinning Freeflight Disc among the various Helicopters. Hey it all looks like fun after all these years!
This one reminded me of Spaceman Spiff, from Calvin and Hobes:
