Oliver Cub Schneurle..??
Have you pulled the muff off to see the actual porting? It looks as if the muff could make an exhaust 'collector' to direct the exhaust aft, per team race setup.
I have an Oliver Mk V (2.5 cc) which is a true schneurle, with side exhaust and internal porting to suit...
...just askin'.....and besides, it's an excuse to open one up!
