Anyone here live in or around Spokane WA?

I am in Spokane for a few weeks, wouldn't mind meeting up with CEF members to do some CL flying.

Don't know anyone in that area. Didn't get ant hits on airplane or remote control searches. They DO have the worlds largest "Radio Flyer" a cement wagon you can climb up.

From the looks of Stunthangar, Washington/Oregon is a pretty busy Control Line area. Steve Helmick is 4 hours away in Renton, so too far for a get-together, but I would send him a PM to ask. He's a friendly guy and should be able to give you some ideas.

We have a great flying area in Auburn and several of the Skyraiders live close. There should be someone there most nice weekends to let you in. Although the city is taking away the flying site in September. I live south of there in Rochester, but will be driving that way to drop my daughter of in Pullman August 5-7th. If I remember right, Pullman is an hour from Spokane.

It has been decades Ron..but I am from that area....Dad and Uncles born in Wenatchee and Spokane

The drive via Hwy 2 or 90 to the Seattle area is OK

I don't know any CEF guys in Spokane ---BUT I am sure stunt guys are there

I know there is a club in the Tri-cities south of you a bit ----Pasco, Kennewick, Richmond...90 south to 395 and should be an easy day trip

Of course Duke and crew plus several clubs in the SeaTac area are well within a day trip assuming you have a rental car
