I believe it is sold to Bastiaan.
Re: From Holland, a brand new Cox Medallion .049 incl several new glow heads
Not yet sold. We are negotiating now.
It is a standard med 049 without rc ring/carb. No box, tools or papers.

Received the engine.
I apears to be a .09
Not a problem, I should have known, it missed the spinner on the picture.
One problem. Underneath the plastic parts of the venturi at the seam there is a small crack. Could be happened in the mail. Would this be a problem for a runner? Or does someone have a new one for sale?
@ the left the new engine, at the right my own runner.

Bastiaan.
SOme of them just had that from the mould and it is not usually a problem but if it is an actual crack you may want to get a new one.

you mean that "scar"-like irregularity near to the edge of the carburetor body?
i thin its just a production residue, not to worry.
mine also has the same thing and runs juuust fine. its just the outer shell, the actual carb inside is made of aluminum.

I hope it is not a problem. I can see metal trough the little crack, which is about 0,5 mm wide and 6mm long.
Thanks!

If it is a decent crack and bothering you, jbweld does a fine job on the carb bodies. I have done jbweld repairs on quite a few carb bodies, 3 in the last month or so, 1 is still curing. Those were of course on the teedee`s at the venturi where it is most common to crack.
It should not be a major problem for you but it may leak there if you do not repair it;not entirely certain due to the location, size of the crack, etc.

I used 60 min epoxy for .010 carb bodies.
