Music--- and the search continues
Searching through my imported bookmarks (new computer) looking for a search I did some time ago for speaker systems when I was looking to set up the home theater
I seem to remember a site had a very good comparison of computer speaker systems for gamers
Could not find it, but found the link to one of my favorite You Tube videos
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLgJ7pk0X-s
The Good the Bad and the Ugly a very different way then you might imagine.... stick with it this is a fun version
see if you don't think the whistler looks like a young Donald Southerland

I used to use Crutchfields for comparison audio shopping back when I had good ears, just checked em out and its changed.
Great song on the ukuleles, I can still sit through that whole movie even though I've seen it many times.

Logitech z533
Had to make the long trip into Best Buy today for Geek squad to determine that my wife's Samsung Tab S2 power cord was hosed
I asked the Geek tech about computer system speakers and it happens that some customer had bought a set of Logitech z533s and returned then in exchange for a 5.1 system....
Used they were $49 vs the MSRP of $99
Box not opened but they have to discount as NOT NEW
I bought them---- and right now they are ranking out Phil Collins "In the Air Tonight" and sound so much better than the tin plastic 1.75 inch crap I had
Before I go
Hendrix Foxy Lady sounds very good to me with these at 1/2A warp drive

ahhh Phil Collins, he is such a great drummer! that song circles around my head sometimes and others it's Bruce Springsteen Born To Run (epically when I see an unopened engine ) and Dancing In The Dark!

Jamming
Well as some of you know I got a great deal on a set of powered Logitech speakers 2.1 system with a fairly decent sub
They are crisp and true to my age and Army destroyed ears and although I could use about 1000 more WATTS the do get nice and loud in side my 16 x 24 hanger/building shop
very pleased for the cost
Right now finishing touches on a Ring master listening to Jerry Garciea and "don't let Go" cranked up
caused me to screw up the rudder a little offset the wrong way.
No problem... razor saw the back half of it and torque a bit then medium CA and insta set
The whole flat rudder ( no deliberate rear offset) was very slightly going to make the plane track inward
Rather than cut it off and start over I made a thin slit from the rear to the middle with my razor saw about 1/4" above the stabilizer, flexed it out a bit and CAed it so the back half of the rudder will add the outside circle offset
I have read too many posts on Brother Hood of the Ring and Stunt hanger that most stunt plane do not require off set and that was my goal but I guess jamming to my music hosed that up
I also do not plan engine offset but have several sets of off set wedges for the motor mounts if needed during trim flights
BY the way for a very short time, I have some help (he is moving away at the Army's direction this summer)---anyway my only flying buddy, Sean McEntee, is going to maiden this ARF and get it in trim before he lets me show him my famous figure 9
Some of the new guys may not know two years ago this month I wrecked a NEW Harley and destroyed my body in the process
When I grab the handle it will be a new NO MUSCLE MEMORY event
and also....Kim and I will get to meet one another at the S.M.A.L.L event 2-5 June in Little Rock AR
I really hope many other CEF can find the time for this event....I crave meeting a whole lot of my Forum Friends...such is ole guy desires
Love my wife and dogs but so many of you all are very interesting folks I can not help but believe we should meet and become very good friends
My buddy Rusty is just 60 years young and I plan to pester him soon on his home turf...I have it on good authority (from Ron Cribbs) that RknRusty and wife know how to make a feller feel at home
